Who are the scum? the wording of the petition reads in part:

"This legislation does not provide the resources to frontline police forces to tackle the true source of firearms violence : gangs and organized criminal enterprises.
We, the undersigned, Residents of Canada, call upon the House of Commons to scrap Bill C-71, An Act to amend certain Acts and Regulations in relation to firearms, and to instead devote greater resources to policing in Canada."

It's a wee bit ironic that the Conservative sponsor of the petition says this while all her Alberta Conservative colleagues voted against that province's decision to invest $10 million recently in exactly these things, a move taken to replace some of the $140 million cut from the federal budget by the previous Con Government which Jason Kenney was part of.

Zero credibility as usual. According to you it doesn't matter what any previous Con Government did, doesn't matter what Trump did prior to holding office - but it's really important what Bill Clinton did in the 90's and any NDP Government did since the 1930s.
