Did anyone else see Rod Stewart in Saskatoon this week ?
We went and thought it was a super show! He can still sing and move real good for 73 years!
I think women out number men there about 6-1 so I guess it's a bit of a girl thing.

No, I didn't see him. Hard to believe how old some of those artists are already.

But I did see Ian Thornley/Big Wreck at Casino Regina....if you like his music on the radio I think you'd enjoy the show.....boy did they take it up a notch. My only complaint, I'm not deaf! I may be old(er) but not hard of hearing. So many concerts get ruined by excessive volume. Fuddy duddy! But IMO, worth seeing live, I'd like to go back, HUH?

The volume was good and the crowed was polite and better than some other concerts I have been to. Maybe because it was mostly the fairer sex.

I am always surprised how these old rockers never seem to age.

Was he surrounded by male singers? Back in about 2000, we boarded a bus from Regina to Saskatoon to see him. He was old back then. I killed myself laughing when a pair of panties were tossed on the stage. I went to work the next day bemusing the panty episode and it turned out the panties belonged to the wife of one of my co-workers. Who’d of thunk it?
