We don't put alot of hours on ours. It should be here a long time.....averaging out that high depreciation from new. A good 4WD holds its value quite well.
I am leaning towards the Versatile. I am curious Farmaholic why did you chose the Versi over the NH if they were similar in price? In my case both dealers have treated me well. The conventional wisdom is that the NH will hold its value better. Looking at Ritchie results the Versatiles seem to be holding resale pretty good. To put a pto on the NH would cost $22 K. In my case I at present don't use a grain cart so the pto isn't necessary but you never know down the road. I would never have thought the Deere would run short of hydraulic capacity. My 9430 doesn't have a pto and John Deere doesn't make a kit to upgrade to high flow hydraulics, can only be done at the factory.

I wanted to stay with a Cummins ,non def, versus Iveco engine. Had enough oil flow to run our 60 ft 3320 paralink with 6550(stanard) cart.
Basic simple tractor, nothing fancy about a Versi.
I can't remember all the specs of the NH, it was done about 5 years ago.

Yes I like the idea of the 14.9 cummins over a 12.9 Iveco. Have you had any issues? In test driving the Versi Cat auto shifted good, how is the shifting under load? Do you have the twin pump hydraulics?

I don't like the shift from 4th to 5th..... its not smooth. Unfortunately those gears seem to be in the "working range" for us.

Yes, twin load sensing hydraulic pumps.
