I'm not smart enough to figure out or know if Federal/National investment in this kind of infrastructure is good or bad in the long term. Sask still has lots of Crown Utilities. Federally we owned a railroad then divested ourselves of it and look at what we have now. Same with Sask Utilities, would private business provide service to the netherlands(remote areas) at a reasonable cost to users...I guess you could say some areas are subsidized.

As long as it's built and run fairly cost efficiently and not sold after for pennies on the dollar.

Ya, and then there's the railroads...can you imagine the "capacity" at the height of their infrastructure....now it seems to be a skeleton of its former self. Maybe a little too lean and unable to do the required job.

A lot more bang for the buck than a 2 billion bypass around Regina.

When you compare these two wow what a deal we got today. Lol

But what exactly did we buy? Equipment or is there existing line started? what exactly was purchased?
