Shitty start to a morning...

Got a call at 5:30 am yesterday.
Neighbor says someone in your field tearing around .
I get in the truck rip over , yup they blew donuts in a nice pea field.
My blood pressure goes up , but can’t find truck
Neighbor phones , says he still hears them out there . I turned around and they fly out behind some trees headed to hiway .
I get on the horn with RCMP , follow the truck to town to give description of truck the 5 First Nations and a licence plate .
Well they stop just going into a residential area . I stay back just about to give the RCMP the license plate . They throw the truck in reverse and try to ram my truck .
I back away , they were drunk as skunks so easy to avoid. They take off and decided not to risk it and let the cops try to catch them as they were on their way.
Anyway, with the description I gave they managed to get the truck later in afternoon.
Mean while I head home , see an ATV trailer on the grid road that skidded off a truck but nothing on it just 2 miles south of the earlier commotion.
The light goes on , and yup that same truck stole a side by side with the trailer from NB at 4:30 am yesterday morning .
The cops find the ATV covered in a camo duck blind hidden in trees on our field .

Hmmmm , and some fukin way it will be society’s fault for these poor thieves .
Theft , vandalism and destruction of private property is the cause for all the animosity through out this whole area.
It has absolutely *** all to do racism.
All these problems would not even exist if there was one one ounce of respect for the society around them . No theft , no problem. It’s a complete lack of respect to the hard working tax payers and working people .
And it’s not all natives , but it is 90%

Yesterday evening driving around to check rain gauges, we meet this beater Chevy coming toward us on a gravel road. All at once the guy takes the ditch, right into a water filled ditch in a gumbo pea field. He backs up into the field, sinking at least a foot in pure gumbo that has just had over an inch of rain, then he turns around to us and takes a run at the ditch to get up on the road. Well, he was hooped, but out of the truck comes this 65 year old hippie with big long white beard and real long white hair all bushed up like a hay stack. Good grief, let’s get the hell outta here! This is right outta Deliverance. But being farmers, we get out the tow rope and trusty Jeep gets him on his way. You never know what you’ll find on prarie back-roads. 😎
