What's going on at Farmers of North America?

I'm hearing rumours that Farmers of North America (FNA) is having trouble delivering pre-paid supplies of glyphosate and other generic chemicals. Anyone out there have any knowledge of waht's happening at FNA?

Is that because FNA may not be able to deliver on the presold product or you feel they did good work for farmers and may no longer be around.

I think they had a great concept. Wish they had offered more competition but think they did have some impact.

I just am surrounded by three initial acronyms. WTF there's FNA, GVE (local Deere dealer), CNH, CPR, etc. we're all SOL.

FNA has had an impact on competition initially. Now not so much. GNG does the same with chemical and you don’t need a ****ing membership. That scares a lot off and the pressure to pre buy out of season which can be inconvenient if you need to make changes. I quit them because my savings didn’t out weigh the membership and the hassle. If a guy was buying more it would. The preferred suppliers some you saved others not much. I made an effort to patronize them to justify the membership.

They lost me when they were AGGRESSIVELY pushing chemical during the 2016 harvest from hell. I'm sitting on a combine in November throwing 20% MX grain into a pile staring down 2/3rds of my crop and they were phoning every other day about this or that smokeshow of a deal. Told them I'm not going to prebuy chemical for next years crop when everything was in such a brutal state of flux. After the 6th or so call I finally lost it and told them to lose my phone number.

FIL is still using them but glyphosate is two months late, innoculant was late and pushed his pulse seeding date back, and they'd love you to buy their new generic viper with absolutely no idea about when they can deliver...

There's a lot of information in this story if you read it carefully. As always - buyer beware.

Something makes me think the Mann boys have a Leer fuelled and ready on the tarmac. Monday morning FNA employees come to work to find doors locked.

Guysin this area never did see an FNA delivery truck. They had to go to the local retailer and buy What they needed to keep going hoping that the delivery would show up any moment. FNA told them they would cover the difference in price for whatever they used before the delivery showed up. The delivery never did show up, seeding is done.

Happened to me years ago....waited for shit to show up...had to go into local and buy stuff....started to go back to local retail because of that incident....

Membership....thats bullshit when they wanted it renewed I asked if they would make up the money on the delay of delivery.....ended that conversation real quick...
