They dissected his presidency so far and if you took the good things hes done and the bad things hes done appeared hes no better or worse than previous potus.

What some don't understand is that the price of raw resources you have make products determines your competitive abilities. Imposing tariffs will mean higher cost for goods produced using steel in the USA. So the steel workers may benefit but everyone else will be hurt. Every trade deal is about picking and protecting what your country wants to produce and export.

I’m with Blackpowder on this one. Trump knows how to win, kick em in the gonads if you can. The American steel industry was decimated by cheap imports for a long time. Not safe for a powerful country to not have its own steel. Except this aggressive guy has all the guns and may decide just to shoot everyone around the table just for the hell of it - shake things up a bit. Everyday sure is exciting. Why the counter duties? Our environmental regulations have increased cop over the last decade to the point Chinese imports are more cost effective. Quebec has lost over 800 jobs due to regulation. Govt doesn't want the industry due to pressure from environmental groups. NOW it's an issue when you can blame Trump? We killed it ourselves
