Just reading the Larry Weber report and there is bit about AGT foods not doing so well. Probability of bankruptcy if things don't turn around.

Is time to limit deliveries to small quantities and make sure to receive payment(cashable check) before delivering more?

What????? Businessman of the world?????
The ****ing guy has been living on government handouts by inflating his build numbers...But it looks good ..
His buddies at government won't let him fail....he will be bailed out for the good of the industry....while primary producers are shit on.
The processing fees should have given AGT solid numbers every year with the volumes.
He has made no money.

NEWS FLASH-“There is no money in Pulse Processing and Bulk Packagingâ€. That business died 20 years ago when the line companies got involved in it and killed margins. In the 80’s and 90’s the Pulse business was vibrant, had many players, lots of liquidity, small companies that provided excellent service and value to farmers and in many cases was the lifeline to farms surviving those times when canola was $5 and wheat didn’t move or was $3.
Transportation problems begin to plague the smaller operators just as margins begin to deteriorate and the industry lost players and a lot of consolidation began.
Mr. Murad came along and seemed to reinvent the wheel in pulses, acres exploded in red lentils, splitting took off and I believe he had made some good money. Then he grew, got big, became admin heavy, added business, sold stock, hyped stock, convinced a big fund man to invest and BAM! Good old India which is the main market decided to deep six CANADA. The business has stopped or slowed, overhead remains the same and cash gets burnt at an alarming rate. We have zero leadership in the pulse industry to face this government barrier, we have no leadership in the Federal government. No retaliatory action against India, just lets be nice Canadians and get walked all over. I won’t be surprised if it all blows up. Reason makes it almost certain.....and because Murad was the Face of the organization....it will be all his fault! The man has created a lot of wealth for farmers and people, had been a news media darling...but shit happens that is beyond ones control. The real experts are the ones who go to the coffee shop, realish in another ones failures, have all the answers on how he screwed up and in reality they haven’t taken a risk in their life and accomplished SFA and are farming with Grandpas money. I hope he can keep it going, diversify to higher margin items, make some real money for the shareholders ....it dosent look good though. The farm news media will have a hay day...lot of garbage to write about to try to sell their crappy failing paper or useless website. Funny how the talking heads are the first to smell the rot and gleefully start to feed the narrative and the downfall is inevitable. Stay tuned!

I m certain he ll be running in the next election he s a shoe in for acting big blowing money not being prepared for the reality of the way things really are. Easy to run things with a blank cheque until the printer runs out of ink. Cant make it without government money.
