RAIN makes GRAIN is all the market knows...90% of time it does, any drown outs are usually shitty yield areas anyway. We seeded all the acres but RARELY combine those few too low sump holes that a excessive rain runs off into. Oh ya V-ditching makes for more drown outs, landscaping works all year. Obvious here now.

we didn't get any rain here, and soon the crops will start to yellow and dry up, but from looking at various farmer twitter feeds, there are lots claiming awesome crops elsewhere Markets are heading downward until something substantial changes the crop outlook.

NE sask we have lost 25% of seeded acres due to flooding. Very disappointing. We never were dry here.

It's great that you all got all the rain you were asking for. Congratulations. Unfortunately, there's some areas here in Alberta that have seed stranded in dust after a comically bad, disastrous, disappointing May. Hay crops are as bad as I've ever seen at the beginning of June, and stories of neighbors having to get rid of cows in panic selling.
It's even better to see the markets dropping due to everyone claiming how great the crop is gonna be and outlook for more rain. (I know traders don't need an excuse to tank the market by now). Good luck to those who still need it.

Farmers don't have to profess a thing.....this isn't 1930 anymore. The all seeing eye knows....
NDVI
Satellite imagery
Boots on the ground
Tires on the road
Drones in the sky
Planes in the sky
Equipment field data collection and sharing.
Weather stations
I could say nothing about what is happening in my backyard and with all the above technology they have a better handle on the big picture than the little snapshot of my situation.... professed truthfully or deceitfully by myself....it doesn't matter.
