    Hey all you Swamp People...

Where do you draw the line on driving through mud and water?

Not much danger of burying the sprayer...good base below but I am making a bit of a mess in some places....you can't dodge everything!

Good question Farma, sprayed sencore on a wet wet piece of lentils other evening. Other than the large lakes, i typically drove through the standing water and muck spots. Consistent sencore rates are critical and without turn compensation PWM I guess ill have to clean ruts up in the fall.

Spraying Liberty today will dodge standing water and water runs.

    We really need antigravity tech!

This rg700 has traction control wont spin tires , ever . I just slow down and go through everything with only 15” tires . Cant get it stuck . Dont worry about the ruts they dont ampunt to anything ..we had the worst ruts I ever saw on this farm last year , brother said nothing would grow in them for a couple years . You couldnt even see them in crop . These were from
Spraying , combining , etc . And we grew one of the best crops ever . You will do more damage going around that shit .rut on !!

I summerfallowed a bunch last year specifically to fix ruts. I seeded green feed last week, crosswise to my usual direction. Lost my eyebrows, AND all my fillings. Ruts last a long time, be smart about where you make them, then go hard.

I've got nothing like that! More worried about bouncing equipment through them at harvest. Still see the affects of our wettest year 2012, in places.

Ruts are nasty and i try to avoild making any if i can. Really hard on your rigging. On clay land they get real hard once they dry out. When you come back later in the summer to spray or if your combining close to the ground they can cause lots of problems.

I just spend hours and hours filling ruts almost every fall and really hate making any.

Like i said , the ones you make trying to go around those holes will hurt you a lot more than the ones you make going straight through them
