Sorry to hear about the damage. Storm saved our crop , 30 mm . Only real rain all spring.

holy shit grass , sorry to see that . always such a kick in the nuts when you do everything as good as you possibly can and then be hit with that shit . Hope it comes back , a bit earlier than usual for that , might help , good luck to those affected

Wow, my sympathies to you and your neighbors. That is always a depressing tour. If it is any consolation, This is the best time of year to get a hail storm. One really dry spring, dad had most of his Hay crop wiped out by hail in late June. Regrew to be tremendous crops, Neighbors had hardly any pain due to the dry spring

We went from desert conditions to a good chance of a diseased mess in three weeks. The grass was still wet from this morning's heavy heavy dew when I came in for lunch at noon.

How much rain did you get with this system?

In 2012 our canola was mowed to the ground.
Crop insurance wrote it off at zero.
We had just sprayed it the 2nd time..in 2 weeks it came back and was blooming..crop insurance guy came back and was speechless.
It yielded 15 to 33 b/a ..was late ..but that yr We had the ugly wind..most didn't average any better.
So you might be surprised..

Tough to lose crops when everything is done right. Grassy, hay crop will still be there but latter than normal, sorry to see what happened.
