Let's see where does a guy start.... even though I'm not paying any taxes in your country, if I knowingly break the law and drag my children with me across a foreign border I'm entitled to your entitlements as a non tax paying foreigner. These entitlements include social programs I've paid **** all into and I guarantee I'll pay nothing into them if you allow me (And my 13 kids) in. Why would anyone work and contribute when it's all free. Healthcare, food stamps, iPhone .... the list goes on. The difference between ancestors 100 years ago and today was there was no socialism. They bought their own boat ticket to get here. They had no healthcare on arrival. There was no food stamps. They busted their balls and went to work to survive. They fought, they bled, and they did their absolute damndest to fit in. They didn't ask society to change for them, they changed to fit in. Germans that had Nazi heritage changed their names to be accepted. No one today will do what our ancestors did. They are immigrating for money because we offer a free ride to all. Make the parents take responsibility for leaving their kids in a jail, last I saw the kids were free in the country they left. I don't understand why a country that is full of the descendants of immigrants and refugees who came to Canada for a better life has so many citizens who have nothing better to do than complain about refugees and immigrants who want the same?

Both Conservative and Liberal governments have brought in hundreds of thousands of immigrants which helps to offset our declining birth rate and grow our economy.

Until recently most of our refugees have passed through regular border crossings legally. The safe third country agreement and Trumps anti-immigrant policy have driven refugees to cross illegally into Canada.
We can fix that by ending the safe third country agreement.

Legitimate refugees deserve compassion, understanding and a chance to succeed just like our ancestors received.

In that particular instance who knows? Did a reporter get to the scene and witness a little girl crying for mommy and jump ahead to assume mommy was gone? Is the man making the claim really her father?
However the fact is or is it fake that republicans themselves couldn't stand to see what was happenning and therefore force the squirrel to reverse what he was doing? If not that little girl are the other ones that are missing from parents not in trouble?

One of the things said by a reporter which I believe to be totally true is that what mak s the separations even more difficult is the fact of the level of incompetency by the officials. They seperate kids and parents and don't have a record of who is who or who went where???? How dumb is that and how inhumane is that particularly to the ones that aren't coming to do harm.

What's not being reported is many are fleeing the drug cartels and face death have no choice.

Yes I don't think we should be solving everyone else a problems. We are at the point of not being able to handle this migration of people to the point we are risking our own societies.

Where the hell is the UN? There ought to be safe zones where all these people can be taken and then processed as to who is legitimate but even if they are can we simply carry on taking in all these people?

Here's an idea for all those immigrants coming in why not all the money they get be loans? My kids have loans for school loans for room etc? Why not them? You come here yes we put you up but you get a job and you start paying back what we gave you. Many of these people are being given a better start than our own residence and looked after better than our seniors for example that have built his country.
