If it were up to me, what comes after Trump would be Trump again. I know that is not good for Canada in the short term, and I know he is a despicable person, but as his pro business policies attract business back to the US from all the socialist countries, and as the US economy prospers compared to the socialists who are losing the jobs, it will eventually force the socialists and their voters to reconsider and might just turn this boat around before it is too late.

Just imagine, if instead of going to trade talks with gender neutral niceties, we just matched the tax and regulation cuts word for word and had a tax war instead of a trade war, and let business decide which jurisdiction is most business friendly.

To think squirrel brains has no effect on us is delusional in fact has nearly as much effect as anything our government does. Border closed to trade what would that do? Sending all their refugees here what does that do?

Our current gov here is way way too far out innoedr field with spending. But in actuality not much more spending then the past government that didn't do a lot of things they should have while they had the chance.

Trumps policies will weaken the west in favour of Russia and China can't say if that a by design or stupidity but it's plain as day happenning right now.

At home we're giving away way too much to the natives, the immigrants, gay and lesbians, tot he point the rest of us are being punished. Hopefully we don't get the chance xtreme the other way in both countries next election. But that usually what happens and is exactly why truduea got elected. We had a gov that couldn't work with all the groups and so we got a goof that's giving away everything to everyone that was ignored before. Too bad we can't find a normal middle of the road candidate.
