I doubt US at subsidies are going anywhere until they are off reserve currency status. When that happens it becomes a possibility. However when "feeding the poor" is attached to a subsidy is doubtful the dems and media will let it be cut. It's interesting to ask a US farmer what his opinion is on farm programs, they get used for compliance with EPA. Keeps Mr. Farmer under the govt thumb.

What does Harper think he’s going to do? Canada had some concessions to make, refused to negotiate, took the whole excercise as a joke, and now we will live with the consequences. Trudeau is not going to rewrite Trump’s book on what is a boy - what is a girl? And Trump is smart enough to know that carbon is our life-blood and to villanize it is pure insanity.
