Did I hear correct, multiple counts of Distracted driving causing death and Distracted driving causing bodily harm?

Here is what a reporter posted:

Jaskirat Singh Sidhu is facing 29 charges in relation to the Bronco crash, including 16 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, 13 counts of dangerous operation of motor vehicle causing bodily injury. He will appear in court next week, no date or time yet.
