Wheat looks best. Found a wee bit of fuzz. Jatharia is too tall(where it can be)
Canola is wrapping up. Top flowers on main stem may only be show flowers...found some small secondary branch flower clusters that have been totally aborted...totally!!! The top pods are quite "thin" at this point...could use a good rain to properly fill those pods and plump up the seeds.
Peas are wrapping up....we have the Diquat already to go. Looked for aphids but never saw one...maybe we never looked hard enough.
Flax has bolls on it and is still flowering but the crop will never reach its full potential because of establishment issues.
A good one inch gentle rain would make a big difference here....early adequate rain created alot of potential of which some will be lost if we don't get a good rain before it's too late....but we are still further ahead for yeild potential than we were last year. Should have a better crop.
