Complete change of topic - A very interesting graphic popped up on Vimeo recently demonstrating the American military-industrial complex at work. Rather surprising how many arms Japan has bought over the decades and how heavily both Japan and Germany were being supplied as early as the 50s and 60s - I didn't realise re-arming them was such a priority at that time, in fact I thought they weren't supposed to even have a military then.
