Good thing the Liberals were not in power in Sask they would have put a carbon tax on every bushel we sold that year ... 🤓

Just about nothing, but the cooler weather will help crops a bit. We are in a strange, strange rainless hole this year. A very tiny zone. Bizarre. Thundering right now, we shall see. Closer to Wadena things look pretty bad.

Looks like it is done raining for today, 1.5" on the nose and yes good old CO2 from forest fires better than any fert money can buy.

We got a 1/2" today the first appreciable moisture since the hailstorm June 14th. Maybe too little, too late but we'll take it gladly.

SE of Tisdale 25 miles, didn't really need that much, some pea sized hail for a few minutes at noon but no damage. I already have some drowned out oats so this will make the potholes a bit bigger, will definitely fill the canola to the top don't see any blanks here. If anything it knocked a few of the last flowers off but not many. Not sure what our total from Apr. 1st but will get mother to add it up, definitely not as much as they are getting in that Hudson Bay area. The first canola I sowed on the 14th of May started flowering on the 25th of June and still has about 5% flowers left, the neighbors have canola beside it that only has 10% bloom going the other way, hopefully it will make it for them. Canola here should be good if nothing happens.

2.6 inches since snow melt east of the Quill Lakes, crops are starting to show it. Mother nature if you are wondering, just because Saskfarmer has had enough doesn’t mean you can hang the rest of us out to dry.

Glad you got a bit of a shot.
