      You can spray for that.
If it happens on rented land who cares? Dont ask don’t tell. If your the only guy farming in the area for miles and miles, who is going notice? Only a fool would voluntarily disclose clubroot on their farm. More than ever I see 3 canola crops in a row. These are sharp operators, they only do that on rented land.

History repeats and it will again. We purchased nothing on this run up higher in prices. Had a chance to add 8 at one time and make a 30 quarter block and didn't. Guess what don't miss the land.

Here it’s mostly still local and a mix of size farms buying . But the majority is be snapped up by a few.
South west of Battleford is being pushed by a Hutterite colony that set up shop from Southern Alberta .
            Interesting times.
Land rarely changed hands for years around here , lately it’s been like a hot potato lol . Some changes and flips are happening faster than the RM office can keep up to .... they said it has never been this active .
Wiseguy ... go spend $25 on Sask Securities web site if you need to know so bad lol .

What’s the big deal about land purchase price being known, I don’t understand this. The land title system has been public for over a hundred years, dating back to the original crown grants.
You can spy on your neighbours and see how many mortgages they have too, but who cares.

Point being the government expense should be just as open...

If a group of 20 guys got 7 million dollars for an irrigation line through the FRWIP program it shouldn't be held under secrecy....

Its true... to grow flax and lentils under water....don't question those capitalists...meanwhile guys are hauling water to cattle because they can't get a well drilled under the FWRIP program...

Better yet how about all the taxpayer expenses on the GTH deals.....those won't be made public????

Irrigation and the GTH are linked...somehow but no one can connect those dots....yet.....hint..BFBB...

Lol, search my Ghetto dirt, some of my land is held as security for a pre-approved "quick-loan" that was never used. Same as the LOC ......don't know the last time it was used. Or a million dollar mortgage may be "registered" with only 100K owing.

Sometimes the neighbors suffer from "schadenfreude" and want to pick the lean meat off your bones for less than what its worth...proved them all wrong! When ever I bought land the neighbors thought it was too much.....

I do wish I would have picked up the odd piece of dirt with the prices on the way up since 08....but it would of had to be the right stuff....even if it was a bit over market price.

Around my neck of the woods (Maple Creek area, and only 30 miles from the Alberta border) the land prices are quite stupid for price. The last farmland that sold was $325,000 per 1/4 section! Great for the guy selling , not so much for the guy buying.

I find that most farmers do not know of comparable land sales.

It is a shock to many of the difference between coffee row land prices and the truth. For me I pay my 20 bucks and find out where the land market is at. Cash rent prices is something that is tough one to know sometimes.

You have to know farmable acres because it is listed in total ac . You also have to onow if any bins , etc were in sale . Not always cut and dried
