    what the ****.
What’s the big deal about land purchase price being known, I don’t understand this. The land title system has been public for over a hundred years, dating back to the original crown grants.
You can spy on your neighbours and see how many mortgages they have too, but who cares.

Point being the government expense should be just as open...

If a group of 20 guys got 7 million dollars for an irrigation line through the FRWIP program it shouldn't be held under secrecy....

Its true... to grow flax and lentils under water....don't question those capitalists...meanwhile guys are hauling water to cattle because they can't get a well drilled under the FWRIP program...

Better yet how about all the taxpayer expenses on the GTH deals.....those won't be made public????

Irrigation and the GTH are linked...somehow but no one can connect those dots....yet.....hint..BFBB...

Lol, search my Ghetto dirt, some of my land is held as security for a pre-approved "quick-loan" that was never used. Same as the LOC ......don't know the last time it was used. Or a million dollar mortgage may be "registered" with only 100K owing.

Sometimes the neighbors suffer from "schadenfreude" and want to pick the lean meat off your bones for less than what its worth...proved them all wrong! When ever I bought land the neighbors thought it was too much.....

I do wish I would have picked up the odd piece of dirt with the prices on the way up since 08....but it would of had to be the right stuff....even if it was a bit over market price.

Around my neck of the woods (Maple Creek area, and only 30 miles from the Alberta border) the land prices are quite stupid for price. The last farmland that sold was $325,000 per 1/4 section! Great for the guy selling , not so much for the guy buying.

I find that most farmers do not know of comparable land sales.

It is a shock to many of the difference between coffee row land prices and the truth. For me I pay my 20 bucks and find out where the land market is at. Cash rent prices is something that is tough one to know sometimes.

                    LOL......Fake news.

850,000 per section is more realistic.

Well land dropped once for my grandfather and he bought.

Once for my father and he bought.

Once for me and I bought.

Case is your land actually gone down?
With the oil and diamonds discovery isn't that part on the way up?
Land in sask will not go down like it did prior. Too many input capitals and oil
                                Money still floating around
