The level of name calling and intolerance on this board is concerning. Please try criticizing policy rather than the person. Perhaps negotiating with Canada is problematic because we are not as easily pushed around by bully tactics. Just giving in is easy but then what?

Well they kind of ran out of ammunition on that early in the thread - the fact that Canada is in the right and has been negotiating NAFTA very well as has consistently been said by Rona Ambrose, someone involved in the process. What's left but to descend to cheap insults on a different topic?

While I dont agree with the comments, you can understand the frustration people are having in the country when we have critical issues to deal with and your PM is busy attending gay pride events weekly. Its hard for people to watch a country we have all worked to create and defend be torn apart by stupid policy, ignorance and the ridiculous whims of a man child and his caucus of like minded simpletons.

Canada is a big and diverse country and much of what you allege is a matter of opinion.

Lots of Conservative politicians participate in gay pride events as well.

Trudeau has many faults, but his ability to connect with all types of people is not one of them.

Harper on the other hand avoided mixing and answering questions and tried to run all of government out of the PMO without letting his cabinet do their jobs. Voters got tired of the angry hyper partisanship on
            constant display.

Wow that didn't come across as very tolerant or inclusive...

Anyway, it looks like Trump is showing our Prime Minister a thing or two about meddling in the affairs of another country.

As are a few other countries.

One can dictate or try to enforce policy all he wants - domestic or foreign - but in the end, trade is the biggest stick.

It looks to me that the Liberals have to choose between two of their sacred cows. Dairy supply management which gets lots of Quebec votes or Auto jobs which gets southern Ontario votes.
I guess they are between a rock and a hard place.
