          I don’t think they are sea gulls, we are a long ways from ocean tide waters.
          I think they are Ausi mallards.🙂

            yes what the hell happened to the seagulls.
            in the days of summer fallow , 30-40-50 years ago there were lots .
            just like the picture

            sure not many now .

              1/2 inch knife openers don’t dig up many earth worms compared to 12 in shovels

                The town dump is 14 miles as the seagull flys. The largest body of water nearby is " shitty flats" where the town pumps its treated sewage.That is about 8 miles away. Get these birds seeding and harvest and then don't see much for large groups the rest of the year.

                  Look on the bright side, at least they're not turkey vultures....they're always circling overhead here.
