    Fertilizer cheaper if no NAFTA?

If a deal doesn’t happen could our fertilizer plants have a duty put on to ship product south and prices drop in Canada?

Pulse tariff in India dropped all pulse prices in Canada. Perhaps fertilizer will get cheaper...

What did bucket say about the steel prices after the tariff was imposed?

There will be nothing done in Canada by any government to help farmers in western canada....period...

They take it like a badge of honour to mortgage their farms against the treasuries of other countries...

Wonder why we don't have a strong ag manufacturing base with the big guys like deere case agco?

Its because in the states the farmers are supported and can afford equipment regularly ....the money sent to farmers gets circulated in the economy.

Exactly Bucket! They realize where it all begins and the effects trickle on down through the whole economy. But it’s not the Canadian way to help an industry that is continually renewable. Shit no give it to Bombardier a company that couldn’t organize a 2 man rush on a 3 hole shithouse. And a French one to boot. Sad

Lol , there will be a fertilizer plant shut down in Iceland 🇮🇸...it will keep prices up regardless for Canadian farmers 🧐

If they quit exporting fertilizer out of Canada from Belle Plaine....there would still be an excuse for high fertilizer prices....

Grant Devine started Saskferco for a reason.....not to gouge the farmers of saskatchewan ...but to bring some high paying jobs to saskatchewan and a reasonable price on fertilizer....

Inputs are ****ing retarded ....and the excuses as to why something doesn't work even more so...

I’m still waiting for a call since Monday, guess they don’t need my business. Funny thing is I bought from them last year.
I think there will be a lot of nutrients left in the ground after this drought. Maybe that’s their thinking of raising the prices. They may have to make up lost volume by raising the prices.
I sure hope I didn’t give them anymore ideas how to screw us more.

If its like the seed business ...they will find a way to start charging residuals on the leftover fertilizer....

One can find some very interesting things on Alibaba
We found generic Basagran for $5/ac landed in Vancouver . BASF simply fuks farmers on that stuff

Klause you think that could be melted like regular 46 for foliar applications? Can’t see why not
