Ten people were taken to hospital after a bus transporting pipeline workers collided with a semi at an intersection on the northwest edge of Kerrobert.
According to RCMP, there were 16 workers on the bus when the collision took place Friday around 4 p.m. O.J. Pipelines, a pipeline contractor in operation since 1977, confirmed in an email that the bus was carrying its employees.
Of the 10 workers who were taken to hospital in Kerrobert, three were later transported to Saskatoon — two by STARS Air Ambulance and one by vehicle, according to RCMP in a news release.
The remaining seven people injured were expected to receive treatment in Kerrobert, with no further transport required.
According to RCMP, the bus collided with a semi hauling grain at the intersections of Highways 21, 31 and 51.
