I sold my last 12k for $12. Guess others thought it would go to $13

Theres no canola left anywhere . Its a joke . $12 for the months of march and april ? How god damn stupid do they think farmers are to swallow this horseshit ???

And all you have to do is notice the absence of talk of canola yields on here to know how bad it really is ?
Last year larry and others were saying how big the yields were , (and i still dont believe they were in my opinion) shes deathly quiet on yields this year ?

On my travels in west country I haven't seen enough harvested to establish any yields. Maybe a few poorer crops off is about all.

Nah, not falling for that this yr. Pushing $750 a bag probably.

How can the price go up? Genetics not changed. No shortage of seed. I might even take it out of my rotation. Putting $250 an acre into inputs getting risky.

Too many big shots leasing 20 pieces of equipment gotta make the payments so they know they are gonna get the canola sooner than later. Screws the whole system for the rest of us. No real price discovery when the limited ton deals come out from grain companies.
