SK, curious about the harrows. Do you till down all your acres every fall? Is it for better soil warmth in the spring? The vertical till is used pretty sparingly here south of regina.

              Makar,

At least you haven't loss your sense of humour. Cheers to a hot and windy October. Harvested some 20% wheat today. Flat as a pancake, one field cut one way. Glad I still have my hydraflex.

So cold couldn’t stand around with the Case product specialist need to get back in the cab.

                    It’s september for f$&ks sake.

At least it’s warm by the dryer.

Wind up now but bone chilling cold.

                    Really sucks

Only thing happening here is swathing and sliding on the hills. My brother was swathing canola and slid down the side hill into the fence. I had to pull him out of it and it’s all the 4760 could do. Today was another 1/4” of rain when they weren’t calling for anything. Built some fence to graze some green and pathetic barley and did a parts run today. 100km north they are doing 18% barley whereas ours can get water squeezed out of it yet. Forecast looks like my mood is now. Doing so much work but not actually accomplishing anything for the third year in a row is growing old. Can’t even get around the yard with a stock trailer behind a 4x4.

                          Next year country here
