So cold couldn’t stand around with the Case product specialist need to get back in the cab.

        It’s september for f$&ks sake.

At least it’s warm by the dryer.

Wind up now but bone chilling cold.

        Really sucks

Only thing happening here is swathing and sliding on the hills. My brother was swathing canola and slid down the side hill into the fence. I had to pull him out of it and it’s all the 4760 could do. Today was another 1/4” of rain when they weren’t calling for anything. Built some fence to graze some green and pathetic barley and did a parts run today. 100km north they are doing 18% barley whereas ours can get water squeezed out of it yet. Forecast looks like my mood is now. Doing so much work but not actually accomplishing anything for the third year in a row is growing old. Can’t even get around the yard with a stock trailer behind a 4x4.

              Next year country here

Finally back threshing in the nw. Lots of standing wheat coming off. Not much if not none is dry. Taking barley now around 15 to 16. See peas coming off. Some doing canola but elevator taking at 12. Bloody geese raised hell with swathed barley. Have had lots of hunters have successful hunts in my fields. Not much off here. Wouldn’t be more than 15%.

                    Flat from the heavy snow.

Moisture was 21.8 today only took off wet bin.

Still will make a #2. Yields still good. The Geese are having fun.

some combines going , but nothing changed at all yesterday .
                      at least right here
                      swathed canola 19 , straight canola 13.5.- 14.5

hear of wheat being bagged at 19-21. around Wilkie
think west of unity . might be dryer . simply because they had less rain last time .

                      here we had 1.6 to 2 inch's.

feel for you guys , with nothing off .

no fun here ,so I can only imagine what you are up against.

Ha! Got you all beat. Hard wet frost after 1/4” of showers all of yesterday and now light snow. This was supposed to be our nice days according to the forecast. Finally got the alfalfa wilting down from frost the other day and not sure what to do with it. I doubt it’ll dry enough to make silage bales even. Starting to fence a couple quarters to graze them instead. An hour away there’s combines rolling but not here anytime soon.

                              Rubber boots aren’t optional here.

Funny thing the wheat might actually give more dollars per acre than canola if it continues to spiral downward.

Ha, who would have known? The experts said don't grow Wheat.

yea always bet against an expert.

Why are prices not even looking at the reality that almost 11 billion in grain is still in the field and nothing has been taken off dry? One warm spell in two weeks and boom bins a heating.
