Carbon taxes are so 2016. Only complete **** heads are still supporting carbon taxes. Most **** heads have moved onto promoting other methods of wealth transfer.

Carbon taxing ourselves in this cold northern sparsely populated country for posterity is noble if it really does happen. However well intentioned that you are Chuck you know damned well China, USA, Russia and every other developing or third world country which is at a warmer latitude and higher population density, won’t contribute to much reductions because of higher population densities and less carbon footprint. I remember Grassy putting a chart up here that said the most effective way to reduce impact on the environment was for people to have less kids. Well North America and the rest of the developed world that’s no problem as we can’t hardly replace ourselves. You know the elephant in the room here. I always think until you can solve that well all we do here is merely falling on our sword.

The list is missing the most abundant, and most influential greenhouse gas, water vapour. But it is harder to tax...

I will stop feeding the troll now, as expected, it is only encouraging it.

Yup clouds prevent warm sunshine from reaching us! Thanks for you voice of REASON/COMMON SENSE, amid the horse shit spewing like HILTER'S lies trying to convert us to follow the Global TYRANTS.

Heard Trudeau is not backing down. Keep going let’s see if that will win you an election. Unless they have a better idea about polls than me and judging by how the latest provincial elections have fared I’d say he might be preparing to die on a hill.

Long term, that is very good news. I'm just afraid that his handlers may be smart enough to convince him to back down, and he may get re-elected. As it stands, I would say this one issue may just be divisive enough to turn enough hard working Canadians voters against him, as it has in most of the provinces already.

I kinda have a feeling whether it be his hubris or liberal party hubris or naivety in general they may stick out on this one. He hasn’t shown any resolve or fortitude on much and I think he really thinks this is an issue to dig his heels in on. Environmentalists and religious wakkos are one in the same. They let their heart and beliefs get in the way of logic. Lot of lefty folks may say they’re atheists but embrace environmentalism and socialism the same way some wakkos embrace religion. No matter what side of the fence people sit in belief structure they will always look to follow something. Only so many folks who can see it for what it is and the rest get duped and controlled by the best bullshitters.

                  cc.
This from ache4acres, "Predicting the future is very tough. Human nature tends to fear the future and think of the worst."
Of course he was only talking about the nearby weather, and you are a climate alarmist that has the what, 2050 tipping point figured out, and the 2100 doomsday point figured out? Or is it that you just have the Tuesday figured out, but not which Tuesday?
You should really get it narrowed down as it will be important for your expanding family tree to know what dear old cc. in the home with his memory loss was actually thinking in 2018. Agriville, if not still in existence, will be archived along with you.
Myself, well I was born with a "kill switch". Time comes, and I will flip it. It's all paid for, and then some.
You have a good Thanksgiving as well.

Maybe the reason Agriville is such a bunch of deniers is that we are truly '' Red Nednecks" ie we spend too much time bent over in the noon day sun watching the weather to believe this BS ?

As my accountant says there small farms that are very profitable and small farms that are not. The same applies to all sized farms. So much success is dependent on the management ability of each farm. If $3 or $5 dollars per acre is a make or break issue on your farm then I think there are perhaps other issues to consider.
So let me get this straight Chuck2 because I don't want to pay an additional $10000 dollars in tax you insinuate that my farm is poorly managed? That is quite a stretch. The biggest problem with a carbon tax is that it is designed to continually increase over time. Let's be realistic, it will not stop at the $50 per tonne price set by Trudeau and the rest of the Libiots. By 2030 I am sure if the left has it's way it will be at least $100 a tonne. Imagine over $5 per gigajoule of natural gas and just under 27 cents per litre of diesel fuel. But that is just peanuts to you I am sure eh Chuck2, the great manager that you are! Enjoy your day.

That’s exactly the point . This carbon tax scam was just a start , then it was to increase ... double and even Tripple .
Well chucky .... that $10,000 puts my daughter through U of S for the winter. Not someone else’s of my hard work .
