          http://tis-zt.com Ukraine's Largest grain port

They're building a massive expansion. An extra 75,000 tonnes of storage and 1 million metric tonnes per year capacity coming online in 2018.

            Brooklyn Kiev
            (Ukraine)

New grain terminal that came online in 2016. They are still building, currently handling 1.5-2 million MT. Once complete, will handle 4.5 Million metric tonnes.

            250,000 tonnes of storage.

The list is much longer, but ya'll get the picture... this is where Russia and the Ukraine came from.

Allow these countries access to resources, and give them markets and they will thrive. Lord help us when the FSU wakes up.

In Contrast, in Canada, G3 is opening a year a head of schedule (next year).

Full capacity will be 8 million metric tonnes.

It's the first and only new grain export facility in 50. Yes FIFTY years.

              At least it's something!!!!

              By the end of 2018:

As a result, 2018 can become the record in the history of Ukraine in terms of the volume of terminal crop capacities put into operation – 14 million tons throughput and capacities for one-time storage of 916 thousand tons.

              Russia is almost double that.

I'm glad our commodity groups, farm papers, grain marketing "experts", and the general media talk about this all the time.

I read that Russia was transloading some boats in deep water. They load small ship at an older port and then it goes out into deep water and transloads to a large ship. Does look like Russian competition is here to stay this time.
