    friday thank you notes

Thank you for seeing some upticks in the markets.

Thank you for showing that the durum market is now based on a 5cwad or better... next time 5cwad is worth 6 bucks I am taking it.

Thank you for another snow overnight to reevaluate my patience....

Thank you CBC for spending more time on US news than Canadian anything ....spent the last few days channel surfing ...TV is really shitty.

Thank you to any news organization for not covering agriculture's pending 11 billion disaster...in depth...

Thank you to the elevators that charge drying but don't have a dryer or haven't started it in their facility ...

Thank you to the facilities that help paper blend to dry at no cost ...big thumbs up to them....if they can't justify having a dryer....there is a good chance most of the local farmers can't either...no sarcasm in this one ...this is a genuine thank you...

Another thank you to Manitoba for shitcanning the carbon tax...

Thank you to the markets for not recognizing the frost in Australia....

Thank you Trudeau for showing you support criminals not the victims of crimes. Wouldn't even stand and vote....

Thank you Goodale for being a lapdog your entire political career.

Those two things should keep either one from being re elected. Sadly they get a pension for being the way they are.

Thank you to the Grammar Police and spelling police. Grass and Alberta you make the world go round.

Thank you to Ralph Goodale for being the biggest Fool to do nothing your entire life and get a check for it.

To Justin Trudeau for saying he is going to be civil then misses the vote and cuts down the opposition, then goes and does a line of coke because he is stressed.

Thank you to Trudeau and the Liberals and NDP for putting a Sick Dog child killer into a Club Fed. your real special kind of parties.

Thank you to Sask Ag and Food who tell the Media that farmers made progress last week and went ahead almost a full 10% with harvest 2018 but snow was on the ground for most of the week. Real special group.

To mother Nature F#$K You. Go pick on some other poor farmer.

Feel especially sorry for two groups today. Those that have to do photo ops with Trudeau when he visits factories. Imagine your boss telling you to be nice to the PM or your fired.

And the people who want to do photo ops with this guy. I mean WTF. Guy has destroyed the best parts of this country and there are groupies trying to get a pic for it.

We have a lot of low information, basically near retarded voters.

Thank you Closet Boy and Ritz Cracker for gutting Ag Safety Net programs down to nothing. In a year like this when many farmers would qualify, that chance has been eliminated.

Mean while The Ostrich farmer benefited immensely from the very programs he gutted as we all know how well that Ponzi scheme worked out.

Yup, those Conservatives did sooooo much for Agriculture while in power!

Isnt it weird that those ships show up when world production is lower, canadian harvest in trouble and the market has artifically knocked down the prices. Its a play to shake out weak hands and boy have they caught some people with their pants down. Delivering all canola at 13% moisture just to get rid of it.

We are going to get a WTF moment later this month and people would have wished they didnt do that. In Q2 its going to be $12 or higher. Austrailia has no crop and the EU have decreased their winter **** acres to try and rebuild wheat stocks.

                  Forage

Thank you for pointing this out...no sarcasm...this is a genuine thank you

They really ****ed up western canadian agriculture...and got many to buy into the nonsense...

I can't compete against the treasuries of other countries that support their farmers.

Don't quote me FF, BUT the Ag Stab trigger has changed back to something more realistic of actually being able to collect benefits. I don't think the nuts and bolts of the program changed much just the triggers. But I don't know if those changes are in effect for the 2018 year. I would have to look again. I think they took out that stupid part of the trigger based on the lower of eligible expenses or the margin.

DYODD, some people might collect this year, we won't be again this year even with the changes in place, but that is ok with me....I wouldn't want it that bad anyway.

I wonder what the participation level is.

Thank you again to saskpulse for believing that pulse growers don't need an adhoc payment while every other industry gets funding....dairy is currently working on another one....AGT has 117 million for a used railway they won't have in shape this year...

All the stabilization money should just be dumped into crop insurance and municipal hail. They arent perfect programs but at least they are bankable when you need them.

Thank you to Pulse canada who receives 1.8 million from saskpulse checkoff and doesn't have to file a public annual report....

And receives taxpayers dollars as well...

Crop insurance is individual crops....others including agristabilty are whole farm insurance schemes....

So if one crop does well and another doesn't they don't pay....

If one crop is garbage in crop insurance at least they pay on individual crop disasters...

Not promoting crop insurance just pointing out some differences ....but it is still a poor program...when you look at the changes in farming over the last decade...and the way they average it out..
