So is that like Obama taking credit for the great USA numbers or like Trudeau blaming all his problems on Harper.

Keep believing is all I can say to liberals your day is coming.

I think this Government is doing rather well on the employment front. The current 5.9% rate of unemployment is at a very low level historically. Credit where credit is due.
Don't crow to loud Grassfarmer unemployment went up in Alberta by .3% and I believe employment increased in Ontario is that credited to Doug Ford?

I wasn't crowing anything Hamloc, merely highlighting the hypocrisy of many of the posters that blamed the Federal Government last month when numbers were up but now when numbers are down are trying to say it's nothing to do with the Federal Government.

I know where you are coming from Jazz and Sf3. In our small town that is getting smaller we are getting another fast food place. Darri queen. Every time I go to these places the thing I notice is the people that are there are not tax payers. Lot of good people that are retired and people that can’t help it. Is this a big benefit to our economy?
I don’t come on here very often as I have enough girlfriends to stir the pot.....

Jump in Cdn jobs was via government, part-time.

Full-time jobs declined about 17,000 in Sept.

If the big concern of posters is about part time versus full time jobs then you should have been happy with the August figures as they showed a 40,000 gain in full time employment. Strange though, I still don't remember much outrage about the unemployment rate throughout the Harper Government's reign when unemployment rates were substantially higher.
