So there is a lot of crop out yet in western Canada. A lot of the cereals left are low grade , a big portion of canola left is going to be unusable to crushers or export at 20-50% green . That’s even if half of it comes off that’s left . I know the markets still thinks total production is high and will hold that dream until May .
But also interesting is the fact that the main soybean and corn crop in the US is getting near flooded with more rain to come and near zero harvested .
For those who are done or near done and have decent quality in the bin this may be the year of fire works if you can ride er out .
We are just hoping to get at least half of what we have left out off in reasonable shape and hope it’s enough to carry us through till spring . What a sick feeling
