Thanks for posting. I tried to point out this trend to the science deniers and troll on here a while back and they as usual denied reality. It is really heartwarming to see reality taking hold on a global scale so fast. Please Trudeau, make global warming the hill to die on for next election.

Alberta, some simple question for you.

- Did you know that carbon is released at the edges of colliding tectonic plates
- Did you know that the molten core of the earth radiates heat out through the crust even billions of years after the earth formed.
- there are thousands of miles of mid ocean ridges where there are volcanoes and underwater smokers releasing pure carbon
- there are millions of people still burning dung and wood for cooking and heat
- dormant volcanoes even still release carbon

How did we measure those values and put them into the models.

Answer, we didnt. They made assumptions and cranked them in or left them off entirely. And there are a dozen other variables like that. The errors in those models must be huge.

Sounds like fake news to me. Suzuki told me that only humans can release CO2 and that it was consistently at the perfect level before we came along,
Why would we want to include those inconvenient truths in the models. They don't contribute to the agenda in any way.

It seems as though they aren’t backing off of the failed carbon tax.
The Liberals in Ontario didn’t back off and now they don’t have official party status.

Interesting to see if they finally admit their plan is a failure.

Pity the whole thread is based on fake news again. Far from the world abandoning green energy it is embracing it like never before. 2017 saw the highest levels of investment in renewables ever. Global investment in solar development alone exceeded that of coal, gas and nuclear combined.
You can sit and tell yourselves that global warming isn't happening and it's all a tax scam and everybody is going back to coal - but it's simply not true.

Sask3 it would be nice if you were correct but I see the federal NDP are calling for an emergency debate in parliament on the latest IPCC report, the enviro's are digging in. Grassfarmer, the same type of predictions were made on the first earth Aprill 22, 1970, the environmental chicken littles just don't let up. Today in reality it is a large wealth transfer scheme. I am certainly in favor of efficient use of our resources but this imbissilic belief that shutting down Canada's energy economy will change the global environment defies logic!
