For all those Scheer supporters on here that were against pot legalization, when Scheer was asked if he would re-criminalize cannabis he tip toed around giving a straight answer.

"The Conservative Party will do our due diligence, examine the consequences of this decision, and we’ll examine the reality on the ground,” Scheer told CTV Thursday."

He's so scared to chase any votes away that may be in favor the legalization of pot.

Trudeau could at least make a decision on pot, Scheer is so spineless he can't even give a straight answer!

I think it was a good answer, if it looks like it's going to cause society more problems then get rid of it if not then don't. Seems like a logical answer to me.

Too ****en bad legalizing pot and social engineering take precedence over the financial health of the country they were elected to govern.

Sexual orientation, pot, inclusiveness regardless of ability(cabinet appointments), poorly vetted immigration, pandering to every bleeding heart, etc etc etc.....real important issues to put the financial health of your country on the back burner for.

Maybe the fools will defeat themselves.

And in a perfect world, wouldn't it be great if it didn't matter who the leader is? Imagine if it was all about policy and accountability, instead of the cult of personality, name recognition, and who is more photogenic.

When I chose a seed variety, do you think I know or care who the CEO of that company is, or do I care about how it performs? Why can't politics be the same.

That's not how politics works. Try to keep up.
Bernier is a wing nut that knows what some of the buttons to push are. He's desperate to be somebody he isn't.

If scheer says he agrees with pot then he's locked into it and if it goes to shit the liberals would say see you agreed.
If he says he disagrees with it and it turns out to be this big tax grab that doesn't harm society which I think it will then he's also screwed. So the obvious proper thing to do is see how it plays out see what people think about it after it's been here for awhile and then make a decision. It's already in place which is different of it wasn't already in place to comment on.
Actually was a smart take on his part.

Ambrose looked good as interim leader but just about all of them that have no ambition of being leader or know they are out always seem to act different then when they are under the gun to do what's necessary to get elected.

Albertafarmer that is true it should be more than about one persons view for sure.

Absolutely! - that's the way it's supposed to be. You vote for the candidate who will best represent your constituency - only the constituents of Papineau, Quebec vote for Trudeau. Unfortunately the media switched the focus to the leaders decades ago in many countries and it is one of the things contributing to the poor governance we see nowadays.
