    Best Harvest Song

This is a song I listen to every once in while, Alecia Chakour's voice says it all.

Not my thing personally but after far too many 16 hour days it might be tempting. Ha. Finally finished at 2:30 this morning. Only 17 000 bu left of wheat to dry now.

101...I pictured you more of an Anne Murray Rita MacNeal type.

Good music is in the ear of the beholder. Good thing listening to country music isn't a prerequisite to being a farmer...I would of had to change careers. To each their own.

Damn straight. My old farm helper is 71. He knows more on my farm than I do. He helps his wife with gardening, drives tractor 5-8 hours a day and does basic handyman stuff for other seniors.
I retrieve him at “coffee” at his friends house. The friend is same age. Labourer all his life, now on pension. The contrast is startling. The friend is a very nice and reasonable person but looks 10 years older. Rotten teeth, doesnt eat properly, spends the day drinking coffee watching tractor pulls and apocolyptic bullshit on youtube. A 20km “trip” and/or cutting his grass is big deal that takes a few days to plan into his schedule.
A body in motion is a body in motion.

I do note that the general conversations with these guys are usually themed in pessimism. Im thinking that comes with age but I dont stay too long at coffee.
                  Keep working.

You are correct, although the last couple years I have been listening to more and more Outlaw Country on Sirius. My uncle is a big Waylon Jennings fan and I see why. " I've always been crazy but it keeps me from going insane"

You can't go wrong when hauling grain to play a little "Highway to Hell". I get in the Semi after my Son-in-law has been here helping and the radio is on the "Pitbull" channel and the Jake is shutoff WTF.

Don't mess with the technology much either.
Did put see Kickers on the combine to rev people with some AC DC.
But I like antebellum folk music to Outlaw stuff to classical to classic blues to classic rock.

Unless you're willing to subscribe to Sirius, carry discs or other digital formats...the only radio stations you can recieve in your area might have a huge affect on what you like to listen too. Also what you grew up listening to.

Some of the AV people's choice of music genres surprised me. For the last twenty years and at my current age, I was never "proud" of the type of music that I enjoy listening to... feels like I never grew up or "matured". But I don't care or think it matters. I even went to TWO Volbeat concerts in the last few years....but I do admit they wouldn't have to have the volume THAT loud! I got to use three of my senses at those concerts, I got see and hear them and physically FEEL it BOOM BOOM BOOM.
