Think too a lot of those dipshits are building in areas that have been prone to fire and resulting mudslides. Like folks can’t believe all the wildlife hanging around and blaming the logging or farming. We’ve in general prevented too many fires from doing what they must, and when they do get away there is so much fuel it’s catastrophic. Preventative burning at least helps.

You brainiacs don't even seem to know that most forest management decisions are made by the states or provinces and environmental organizations have little say or influence.

im glad someone started this thread. ive been saying along about the California fires, a hundred years ago not many dummies lived up in the hills, and mother nature regularly cleaned the forest with a good burn and no one took notice. now with all these fools living in the hills, no one is allowed to cut down trees, and when a fire starts, they put it out. after many years of no fires, and houses popping up everywheres, what do you think will happen? So now we blame global warming for this. and in six months were going to go through this all over again when the rains come, and the mud slides start. use your brains people!

They can't use their brains, it's just not a simple problem it's very complex don't you know just like UpChuck says. We need some studies and then more studies of the studies and some reports and then a follow up study so researchers and scientists have employment since they'd be useless in the real world.
