The only john deere diehard I know is SF3 and he may be waffling judging by his harvest pics/ negotiating tactics....but JDgreen could come around more often....

Pretty slim postings if thats the criteria...

I can honestly say that I have never seen anything on here as fricking stupid as some people post or share on my Facebook feed. It is depressing. Keep it up Agrivillers.

I never understood the blocking concept - presumably you wouldn't see the posts from someone you blocked - but what they wrote would no doubt be pasted in the replies your buddies make to their comments so you'd see it anyway. As Mr Simpson would say "Doh!!"

          It is a discussion forum.
Not a cult. Or church that shuns
          Members for differing thoughts.

I think the only policeing that
Should be done is for personal
          Attacks that occur ,

          usually the personal attacks are
A symptom of no ability to come up with a logical rebuttal .

When you hurl insults, make unfounded allegations about someone you don't know, you are trying to dismiss and discredit their point of view so that others will not listen or take them seriously.

Why not just take on the issue and make your argument with some evidence to back it up? That is much more effective than name calling.

I think sawfly is right in many cases posters are too lazy or unable to make a good argument so they resort to name calling.
