Yup we've seen over and over how the left appreciate the facts. Shuts them right up and they go right back to copy and pasting and chanting like zombies.

The fuel tax is only a small grievance... the big issue is the “pact†. The tax payers in Europe are already way overwhelmed. They have had enough.....
some of us here have been saying for years that Western Europe was going to ignite...... it was a matter of time. The leftist pendulum swung way to far left.

Social media is driving public opinion. Users are leaving themselves open to easy manipulation. Facts and evidence don’t seem to matter.
"the left" has had their day in the sun
General pop has come to the conclusion majority of people have to work to support a true democracy
generating taxes is not generating wealth
dr peterson is really waking people up

Not sure what Q is and that link never worked. It may have started as a fuel tax protest but that came and went a few weeks ago. This is morphing into much deeper issues.
Regardless, things are unraveling fast in Europe as many of us predicted a while ago . Will be interesting to see how it all unfolds .

Social media isn't driving opinion, it is opinion. Whether govt decides to listen or pull the plug, that's their decision. They're already throttling it and I suspect the push will be on to have a switch to all of it when politically necessary. Govt has no idea how to "control" it like they do with media. I noticed on Twitter that the EU now has allowed vehicles bearing its flag, not much need for NATO if that's the case. Macron didn't trust his own troops so he called in foreigners to gas the neighbors.

Discussion on the impetus to destroy the West. This is what the useful idiots are a part of. They presume on our civility, counting on it that the principles and decency of the majority will keep them from retaliating or fight back in self-defense.
The left may be in for a surprise, as the rising rebellion is Europe is showing.

If Canada is a big diverse country with competing interests that are in opposition to one another then there is a simple solution for that.

I am surorised that there hasn’t been an uprising here in Canada. How can this insanity be tolerated?

Burnt. Interesting quote from Ann
Rand . Atlas shrugs
The last 1/2 of it sounds like the people surrounding Donald Trump.
Another point on Ann Rand is in the latter part of her life.
She fell on hard times .
Collected welfare and lived in
Public housing.
Kind of ironic

What ever your stance on climate
Change .
I am beginning to think carbon
Tax is a political loser.
For who ever pushes it.
People vote with their wallets in mind .. first.
Not a debatable future consequence.
If it is real . It is going to
Have to get really bad , before
Anything happens.
Not toning down the message , will be political suicide.
Esp.in our part of the world.
With oil jobs , cold climate and high energy needs

Centre and centre left in state politics but federal the big game is still conservative but only by one seat and sadly they stink in polls.
Agree or disagree dont give a rats toss bag but here were swinging very left.
Its almost hammered into kids at school climate change is real and irreversable, big bussiness is bad, the govt owes you something and will look after you.
The way of the world hate to be alive in 50yrs myself
