Those capitalists are at it again....

Canada's battered energy industry will get a $1.6-billion boost from Ottawa on Tuesday to try to slow the political and economic bleeding.

Wow.....Trudeau admittedly ****s up on the INDIA trip.....Pisses off SAUDI ARABIA.....and is caught as collateral damage with CHINA.....and still completely ignores farmers....

But he pays off Alberta oil companies/shareholders. Must be a lot of liberals worried about their investment portfolio....

Oh sure, the oil companies will find new markets — what a joke, we can’t get the oil to the markets that are there now.

But where the “f” is Scheer? Trudeau will get another term because we have another Useless Mute. I want a new Conservative leader - like yesterday!

I caught that CBC(?) interview too. Where he said he regretted the India charade. I can hardly look at him, even on a TV screen! Zero respect for him.

It's getting frustrating how Ag producers are getting ignored.

Like you said bucket, maybe we as a group, need to stop taking the multi-billion dollar gamble for the rest of the Industry to benefit from

Wait for the reaction.....this will do nothing for the people that are out of work....this is a shareholder payout...but I could be wrong.....as usual....it's supposed to go to job support....

I would like some of that to keep my kid on job support on the farm while lentils are in the shitter and made worse by Trudeau basically shitcanning our markets....

Meanwhile our farm groups are doing what....

Can one farmer explain what the **** they do?

Can't they stand up and say lentil prices are off 65 percent from 2016

Other grains are off 30 percent as well...

Can't they just put their ducking hand up and say what about the primary producer....

Not the seed growers, seed breeders or dairy....

Primary producers....can't one farm group say hey its bad here as well... inputs through the roof with no logic behind it ...grain prices are well off where they could be. ...we are competing against an MFP payment in the states which is affecting prices here....

Sobering morning thought....who or what Industry would survive a complete economic crash without any Government help(read "TAXPAYER")and what would things look like after the dust settles? 2, 5 or 10 years later?

On the oil industry 1.6 billion....maybe refineries need to start paying more....anyone notice the disconnect between a barrel of crude and pump prices?

              OH OH OH OH !!!!!

I Can answer what all our farm groups do.

              SWEET **** ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But the feds can't support seed research for what a few million but can give oil almost 2 billion to do research for new markets.

How about building some way to get the shit out of Canada for resale.

Thank a liberal and our useless farm groups for being too stupid to figure shit out.

No politician noticed the disconnect between barrel prices and pump prices because they have ****ing expense accounts and don't care...

It's stupid but every 20 liters of fuel buys a barrel of western Canadian oil and there is what 205 liters in a barrel....

Pretty good margins and federated should be able to hand some cash back.....

This pipeline stuff may all be too late anyway. There is basically only one overseas customer for WCS and that's china and we are about to piss them off royally.

You know, foreign powers might be exactly what this country needs to pull it shit together. China rejects our crude, T2 cancels the LAV deal and Saudi stops selling us, our leaders dig their heads out of there ass and 1 million bbl out of Ab finds its was along a revamped energy east pipeline. Trudeau gets a clue about really fighting climate change if it exists and announces a million bushel biodiesel plant out west.

I don’t know about any of you, but everyday the price of oil falls is better news for us farmers.
Local Coop dropped fuel price .12 in one wk.
Hopefully the plunge keeps going, at least we can POSSIBLY say we will have one reasonable priced input going into spring.
Yes, it should be cheaper with today’s crude price, but there’s a glimmer of hope.

As soon as oil moves up fuel prices will ramp up twice as fast....

We should be at 65 cents a liter for diesel....

Canada barely qualifies for the definition of a country. We are string together by threads and nobody wants them strengthened. natives live in their own world locked in a dance with the govt forever, Quebec all about Quebec, martimes on welfare, BC envirowhackadoos, throw in some socialists for good measure and its a wonder we are a country at all.

Apparently, every province trades more with the US than they do with each other. I guess we are a vassel state after all.

Ditto...been thinking that since high school political debates! As an old hobby wood worker, The continent,(if a board of wood) was crosscut E-W against the grain, leaves it weak as hell. Easy to break with N-S grain. Sad but true, many self interest groups pulling in all directions, not together for common good. However, the USA is split 50-50 on many issues and politics, the EU is being tested. It is hard to keep a "heard of cats" going in same direction forever. Guess that's why empires increased and waned in history.
