Thank you to all the "Farmer Groups" who receive our check off fees (taxes) and represent the interests of the industry rather than the interests of farmers. Please lets make an effort in 2019 to ask for a refund on all our check offs and put theses groups out of business.

I think the seed tax will do that...they already direct our checkoffs to R&D....which will mean one or the other is not going to happen...

Not that I like mandatory checkoffs ...at least most are refundable....

If the seed tax goes through it won't stop at a buck a tonne because between the Saskeverything and the WGRF there is already a buck a tonne directed to R & D and the seed industry is saying its not enough....

Thank you for the freedom to internalize deep feelings of gratitude at the same time as externalizing grievences!

Holding other people, businesses and organizations to account isn't like having a bad attitude, it's like doing your job! It should be expected of you and instead of badgering someone who does maybe quit being a doormat and getting walked on, stand up for yourself and what you believe in for a change.

If you have someone waiting in the wings to fill your shoes and take over the farm, don't fool them with seeing you wear rose-colored glasses all the time....sometimes reality sucks and if you don't face it head on you might just end up blind-sided by it! Heads up. In nature the blissfully unaware are often their preys next meal. I have been brought up to speed of Ag's changes very quickly on this site in comparison to where some other people may choose to congregate. Leave at your own peril if you like but.....

Thank you for the high cost of fert, I need a good tax right off for the high priced crops we received this year. 😂😂👎👎👊👊🤬🤬
Chemical prices set to increase 10-30%, especially the ones that have any active ingredients coming out of China.
Thank you to James B for pointing out we are all miserable and thankful for nothing. I just hope this year wasn’t a picnic to what could possibly be coming in 19.

Thank you for conferences that pet farmers’ egos and point out how wealthy they are - as if the organizers know that our wonderful leader has bolstered our well-being by enhancing our export capacity, wooing our major trading partners so they are clamouring for our lentils, wheat and flax, and embracing the West resulting in the most unified national family we will ever see. Oh, ty Jesus!

I am thankful... that in/by the same measure and standards we use to judge others... that...we will be judged ourselves by these same measures...

Thanks to all those folks [everyone who supplied our farms needs] that helped our family farm be sucessful in 2018... to harvest healthy food for hungry people in our global family.
