Why do people hate vegans so much?

    https://www.vox.com/future-perfect/2018/11/2/18055532/vegans-vegetarian-research-uk

Entertaining read. Even if total Vegan slant.

Matt Ball of One Step for Animals wrote that “vegans are viewed more negatively than atheists, immigrants, homosexuals, and asexuals,” citing a recent study by Cara MacInnis and Gordon Hodson. “The only group viewed more negatively than vegans were drug addicts,” Ball added. He also cited another analysis that found that “labeling a product ‘vegan’ causes its sales to drop by 70%.”

Anthony Bourdain once wrote that “vegetarians are the enemy of everything good and decent in the human spirit” and called vegans their “Hezbollah-like splinter faction.”

Have to admit with Mr Trudeu and his fawning MSM here in Canada this latest dive for One World Order/No meat/ Be happy with beans or you are a polluter bring on the end of the world has me scared.

The Canadian Beef producer doesn't fair well when MSM gets on bad news for beef.

Only takes a small shift to cause years of losses and more sellers than buyers.

And the "cheese" in the cheeseburger version would consist of water, interesterified soybean oil, food starch-modified, whey (from milk), gelatin and also contain less than 2% of sodium citrate, calcium phosphate, salt, sodium phosphate, artificial and natural flavors, lactic acid, sorbic acid (preservative), color added, xanthan gum, locust bean gum and guar gum and in big letters CONTAINS MILK
But maybe not so much you'd notice.

But not much need for any ranchers or even dairy farmers as everyone will notice OR NOT

That new burger appears loaded with salt; you know; a good five times as much as what it replaces in a real beef burger. (Maybe talk about stealing the good name of beef/burgers/cheese etc. too.). Just wonder what it tastes like if "beyond burger"t were forced to meet recommended salt guidelines.

Last thing I heard about salt was that its over consumed already. Maybe a warning on those new burgers or at least a recipe change.

But A&W being so safety conscious about GMO contamination and things like the harm caused by red meats and dairy products...its just possible eaters will have to live with what A&W would like them to swallow.

Tried one today bought an uncle burger and a beyond meat burger will choose the uncle next time.
Pretty much a&w considers themselves a high end restaurant had to look twice when she said how much for the families meal. If replacing the fries for onion rings add 4.50, sweet potato fries think was the same or poutine add 6.50.
