    Speed of Development

5 years ago, Argentina imported most of their energy, including liquified natural gas.

https://www.worldoil.com/news/2018/10/17/argentina-plans-to-close-lng-importing-facility In October, they announced they are closing an LNG import facility because it's not needed anymore
The decision not to renew the decade-old contract comes as output from Vaca Muerta, the nation’s answer to the Permian basin, has created an oversupply of gas during the summer. Shale gas production soared to 205 million cubic meters a day in August, more than triple the level seen a year earlier. The government has negotiated exports to Chile to help solve the problem. It has also initiated talks to receive less gas from neighboring Bolivia, with which it has a contract through 2026.
https://oilprice.com/Latest-Energy-News/World-News/Argentina-To-Start-First-Ever-LNG-Exports-In-2019.html In November, YPF announced a strategic partnership, to start exporting LNG in 2019.

So while we spent years with regulatory hurdles, and plants getting cancelled... Others just march on with the times.

The good news is that natural gas shouldn't move up with an oversupply...and by extension neither should fertilizer......you guys can laugh now...

Baahahahahaha! That's almost as funny as building a pipeline to send several times the amount of oil to the market and that will increase the world market price but decrease our costs here. Hahahahahaha
