Funded health care in Canada will eventually have to go to some hybrid model. Maybe the US is ahead of the game here. Our system will eventually need private money as in the form of user fees or something to keep it going. That's what the US should look at. Like charge $100 or something for a doc office visit which are very common. That would have the average family contributing to the system on an affordable level. Then use those funds to prop up the big expensive operations nobody can afford that you might need once or twice a decade or something.

Person I talked to from Russia says basic Medicare is covered but if you want decent service you gotta pay.

Wheat board and Alvin Hamilton in Diefenbaker government took part in arranging deal.
Do not know why China had to buy on credit but it was part of deal.
Likely did not endear us to US farmers who were struggling with surplus at time.

Back on topic, why would the Chinese land on the opposite side of the moon, Whats the point. Now we cant even confirm the landing with a telescope. We have the same images to look at like when Apollo landed 50 yrs ago. Looks like a studio hoax to me again.

I wonder how do countries claim the moon surface? I would assume in the future people will possibly live in some sort of colony there and would also assume may be certain resources there?

Healthcare , we pay 60% of what the US pays , so I think we have room to step up , and improve things.

Political suicide unless Trudeau does it and exempts specific groups. Only the white middle class will have to pay the $100 for doctor visit, That’s my guess.

Trudeau is doing the same thing to the people of Alberta....taking their money and knowing full well Alberta people are hurting and then using his adjustment of the Equalization formula to force feed Quebec the money from Alberta .....Billions sent to Quebec that could have been used by Alberta to build another pipeline and avoid both Alberta and Quebec....

Wally shouldn't have used up a couple billion on non revenue things like the stadium and the bypass...
