So the fact remains that Justin Trudeau has less popular support of his agenda in Canada than Donald Trump does of his in the U.S.
Why doesn't the canadian media cover Trudeau on a daily basis like they follow Trump hourly...

Justin just broke ethics by filming liberal fund raising in the PMs office and not even a daily news item let alone hourly ....

****ing media gets 100s of millions and their news cycle is only 30 minutes then repeats ....

At least here on agriville there is fresh opinions or more topics to engage in....

I’m am totally convinced the Canadian media wants Trudeau and will do anything to keep that looser in power.follow the money trail.

They do the old liberal slight of hand trick.

Look here and forget about the real problem over there.

Simply focus on trump and let shit for brains Trudeau get a free ride.

Funny the tv down here in the USA doesn’t really focus much on the shut down maybe a couple minutes and then on highways shootings and feel good stories.

Fox is the best news coverage ( some will cry but most Americans watch fox) cnn is losing ground.

Most Americans are working again and traveling and spending and happy.

In canada we got a carbon tax, over taxed low dollar shit show.

Thank a liberal every day of this year.

Don't think we are going to get him out bucket without some major event like recession or housing bust in GTA. Even if that happens the feds will just put a bailout on the credit card again. He is going to be buying a lot of votes this yr. Canada just became Ontario. Even if a minority is the result, that's the Libs and NDP in cahoots. That might be even worse.

Somebody for the love of god go talk to Max and get him back in the fold.

Even if we miraculously get the cons in there this term or next, they will have to go all Doug ford style cuts to get things back on tract, the public hates austerity and then turfs out the cons and we are back at square one with socialist back in there.

When Chretien and Martin balanced the budget, Canada was younger with less debt and could handle a bit if austerity. Now we are older and saddled with personal debt. No way we can handle the measures to bring that debt back under control.

I fear Oct 19 will be the death knell for this country. Capital will flee like never before. Patch will be gone.

And yet when the fiscal responsible Harper stepped in, the deficits very were large. You true Blue's didn't seem to upset about that!

Those of you trying to spin doctor Trump's approval rate and how great the USA is doing by watching Fox News, should consider the USA deficit for 2018 is $804 BILLION up $139 BILLION from 2017.

So how good are things on either side of the border?

Thanks SF3 for posting the correct number for jobs created in the month of December in the great ol' USA.

PDJT's policies have created 312,000 jobs in just the last month.

Canada, 9,300 jobs, along way from the 10% proportion, which in comparison would have been 31,200 jobs in Canada.

Believe it or not, CBC actually has a story up stating that in all of 2018, Trudeau's policies have only created in Canada 163,000 jobs for the whole year(2018) So the USA nearly doubled Canada's yearly number, in just 1 month !

              Here's the link to CBC,

What the media is burying away though, is that wages, on avg have increased 3.2% over the year,,,the fastest rate of increase in like 10 years.

For farmaholic, and all the others that can't get past Trump's brassiness, get over it. He's a New Yorker and he has all the media against him. He's not going to stop tweeting, he's not going to stop getting his message out. Trump, or no future Republican are going to allow themselves to be scalped and butchered everyday in the media, ever again. They all watched George W Bush take it for the last 3 years of his presidency, without fighting back, "for the sake of being Presidential). Republicans watched the media pummel W every day, day after day, driving down his approval rating and that is never going to happen again. Now that there is a platform to respond to the constant media attacks, the President can get his message out to his supporters. This is a permeant change, we'll never again be in a situation where only the media decide what message the public will receive.

BTW, haven't heard anyone posting about being upset that a newly elected Democrat congress woman has been publicly, unapologetically and vulgarly calling the President a "mother****er" hum...

It's so hard to understand why our Prime Minister has such a poor image across the world. He tries so hard.

Beaverdam, you make a good point. It's hard to censor live Tweets, but he still isn't my favorite guy.

The Congress has a lot of bat$h@$ crazy “Democrat” socialists now.
This will play into Trump’s hand for re-election especially if one of the crazies ends up running against him.

Interesting to see how popular Trump is with the American worker vs how unpopular he appears to be on CNN/CBC/CTV.

or maybe only 39% according to the first one I googled.

Lots of Chicken Littles on here digging to find facts to suit their story but the truth is Canada's unemployment rate in 2018 was the lowest since the 1970's while the US rate was only the same as it was in 2000.
We've also survived the Y2K type melt down you were all predicting with the introduction of a carbon tax on January first. Even with the added tax fuel is the cheapest it's been since 2016.

Perhaps you could expound a bit more on the "added tax" on fuel? (assuming it doesn't overtax your capabilities)
