French wheat is struggling not because it's too expensive but because the quality isn't high enough for some of it's traditional customers in Africa.

Europe like the US is a huge market and they don't really need to export a lot. It's nothing to do with whether socialism takes root here - Canadian producers will suffer, as they have always done, for being an exporting nation with a low domestic population.

Kinda agree grass,lets lump aussie and canadian wheat in same quality basket. It some how has to be differentiated from the "rest of the worlds" wheat but sadly aint gonna happen.

If end user want "quality" they buy russian french whatever wheat 80% and blend with 20% aussie canadian bang they got there higher quality wheat
