If you think putting small time drug dealers to death is okay then a lot of guys in the oil patch and working construction would be gone by now.

Its funny how when the average working guys who are addicted to various substances courtesy the local dealers get caught they still are part of the community. Some hold down pretty important well paid jobs. You would be surprised who visits the dealers on a regular basis.

Maybe we should stone them to death in the town square? Would that be enough of a deterrent? Or shoot them on sight without a trial like they do in the Philipines?

Not many Canadians are prepared to crack down on their friends, families and community members with the tough on crime death penalty for small time dealing. Hey but that is what they deserve according to some.

My god chuck you have no clue. I for one hope the idiot would just shut his mouth and stay out of the limelight till his term is up.

The drug dealer can die I don’t give a shit.

But like a true liberal you cry for the bad guy and put blame on good Drs etc.
Sorry No Cuba. Just needed a break from all the excessive whiners and complainers on agriville.

There is an incredible lot of negativity from a lot of relatively well off farmers on this site. It sounds like Canada is the worst country on earth. Who needs to listen to that every day? You might as well stay in Florida.

Some of you need to get a grip. When Trudeau is gone I am sure Scheer is going to turn it into a Conservative utopia and magically all your problems will be gone! Who are you going to blame then?

Too bad many of you would not be allowed to express your far right views in Scheer's caucus.

Is pot legal in China? Maybe they don't have as "Liberal" laws over there, so I guess a little bit of meth dealing might be ok in some people's minds. Fentanyl too?

Correct. Over 500lbs of drugs. Don’t feel sorry for the man, life time of drug problems. But hey, Canada will have all drugs legalized eventually if we stay on our current path.

The Chinese are probably angling for a swap. We will get back drug dealers and other misc scumbags and they will get the CEO of a major global company. Sounds just like the kind of deal weak Canada would be in.

If it was trump, he would have the Chinese making a trade concession to get her back. He would make sure they bought a few million tons of soy before she goes back.

Ohh and he has had several other drug charges here in Canada ...
how the hell did he get out of this country in the first place let alone into China ?
Something seems off about this whole deal ..

Yes drug dealers should be punished. But mostly we catch the little ones not the big ones. With all these deterrents how is it that fentanyl and carfentanil made in China is ending up in Canada? Maybe the Chinese should shut down their illicit drug makers and exporters instead of picking on the small canadian fish who obviously is not very smart.

This story is more about arbitrary decisions to overturn a previous sentencing made by China for retaliation against Canada for the extradition case against the Huawei lady.

There are several other cases in China that are linked to this retaliation that are suspicious. Hmmm. Do we sit back and just let them do what they want to Canadian citizens or do we stand up for them no mater what the circumstances are?

Canada abolished the death penalty with good reasons. Scheer is not bringing it back.
