4 more years of Trudeau coming up. Who the hell is advising scheer! He should be running ads and capitalizing on this pathetic liberal outfit but not a word. Scheer will screw this up bad and be gone. It's like the liberals had a hand in the conservative leadership race.

Chretien , Martin, Mulroney Harper .... as you look back actually gave a shit about the country....all had faults to be sure.....but the current group are buffoons .....

Between the Chretien and harper era we put provincial spats aside ....eliminated the separist attitude in Quebec and were really looking like the country we could be....

Trudeau in 3 short years has set us back decades....

When the country was a basket case in the early 90s from deficits in the 70s and 80s, the country pulled together weathered the storm and got back to fiscal sanity. Martin pulled a few shady strings like tapping EI reserves but it benefited Canada. We all were younger and less indebted now.

Fast forward 25 yrs and we are older, more broke, more divided even without Quebec in the mix. Canadians owe $2T in mortgages and consumers spending, another $300B in lines of credit. Farmers owe $200B. And who knows what student loans, car loans and credit cards are out there. Add in $1T of govt debt and our ageing society and we are royally ****ed. Anyone who cant see that has their head up there ass.

You forgot to add in the provincial debt - another trillion there.

In 1960 people had no car loans and barely mortgages.
