From a know it all behind a computer screen going forward....

Since I was called one the other day and others have spent time in Ottawa saying they are doing great things maybe its time to look forward so they can put forward ideas for their time well spent....

Patience in talking to people that delay and are stupid at the government is not a strong characteristic of mine...

So lets discuss a few things....

With the seed tax a few answers to the questions of details:

    1. Who is responsible for a Triffid Flax occurrence if / when it happens with these new varieties?

    2. Who monitors the projects or traits being developed? Farmers money but seedcos decisions?????

On the open market going forward

    1. Where are the transparent reports?
    2. Trend line yields report collaborated with other industries for required infrastructure???

    On the CGC

    1. Who monitors/ audits prairie grain? example....how much CNHR goes into CWRS and why the discount for CNHR?

    2. All these new seed tax varieties ....who segregates them or do they all end up in the CWRS boat?????

Just a few but maybe its time to discuss this at the farm level since for the most part we are paying for it....without much say...

    dumb****led farmer...tm

Also bucket, its clear you are not a member of the young hip new progressive farmers. They know whats best for this industry. You are just a relic. Trying to fight for our independence and sovereignty is not allowed. Looks like socialism has crept into this group as well. Grab what you can from other cause you don't want to take a risk yourself.

I notice all these progressive types are backed heavily by dads and granddads equity. They should farm with their nuts hanging out a few seasons and see how gungho they are for extra costs.

CGC online records do not highlight what happened to CNHR stocks. They could have been sold into the domestic market. Wheat classes and grades are not broken down in the report for domestic disposition.
Or, they could have been blended into exports of other grains.

They are recorded as gone. Depending on how much(if any) was transferred from T Bay to the St. Lawrence ports and how much was railed directly(there was some) to St. Lawrence ports from the prairies, the amount which is not recorded is a minimum of 90,400 tonnes and a maximum of 136,100 tonnes.

The whole works could have gone from terminal to domestic market. There is no way to know based on the CGC weekly report.

Why is it important? Well we have been informed that a number of wheat varieties don't measure up and that if farmers want to keep growing them they have to be classed as CNHR. They are now worth less to farmers than HRSW.
Are they segregated throughout the system and sold into the domestic or export market for less than HRSW values? Only 9,200 tonnes are recorded as being exported as CNHR so far this marketing year.
Maybe the CGC could provide a report on the quality of this shipment.
The rest is gone and any reports on tests made as to its quality will likely never be released.
The CGC harvest quality program is silent as to the results for CNHR.

Yup and some have depreciated their grandfathers bank account with decals and paint....

Bitch about low interest rates on savings and then go watch a cool half million disappear on a new combine or two....in three years...
