Trudeau may be fronting the decision but I give him exactly zero credit. First off the firing should have happened Wednesday morning, not Saturday. Second it was likely Butt's decision, not the little potato's. I expect what really happened is the old drunk went into the 1st class lounge at YVR to get lubricated for the trip back to China. Three doubles later when he walked out someone stuck a mic in his face and he went into free association mode again. Butts heard and that was the end of the road for the senile old ****.

Good riddance. You won't be missed John.

Welp, this is going well - now China compares the Canadian government to a *****. Yup, we have just tons of respect, thanks to Trudy and company.

We do not want any cozy trade deals with china now that we see how they conduct business and diplomacy. We need to basically extract ourselves from this mess and then just be status quo with these guys for the foreseeable future. We get some cheap junk from them, they get some resources. Our trade with them is 10% of what it us with the US. Look for some other less hostile Asian countries to work with. Those in the TPP or something but not china.

And yes we need to get under Americas wing because there is a nasty world brewing and Canada is too full of weaklings to deal with it.

Trudeau's bogus claims that Canada is a country of law while he flagrantly violates the law. In fact the US sanctions on Iran are in violation of the UN and international law. McCallum gave the reasons why Meng should not be extradited said. "One, political involvement by comments from Donald Trump in her case. Two, there's an extraterritorial aspect to her case. And three, there's the issue of Iran sanctions which are involved in her case, and Canada does not sign on to these Iran sanctions," TRUDEAU IS TRUMPS PUPPET.
TRUDEAU AND FREELAND HAVE TAKEN A HOSTAGE FOR TRUMP Trump says Meng will be released on completion of a successful trade deal with China

China’s reaction to the arrest of Meng shows their true mettle. I wouldn’t trust them to not double down on actions against Canada. That said China is getting into the territory of biting off their nose to spite their face. No different than Saudi Arabia. These are dictatorships which when taken to task get defensive and will wreck things in their own benefit to save face. I could see industry players start to pull up stakes in China for the likes of Vietnam and India.

Canada did Trumps dirty work but I don’t think Meng will get extradited if they try her on doing business with Iran. It’ll get thrown out of court. Something about rule of law you know. Sad when a country with no rule of law will have one of their own saved by rule of law.

The whole thing was orchestrated in order to somehow embarrass the president or derail progress on trade talks. When that did not happen, China threw Turdeau under a Chinese bus. There is no way that Turdeau's Chinese masters would have had her arrested with Turdeau's knowledge unless it was part of a larger scheme.

                    I amuse myself:

Trudeau the elder was responsible for opening relations with Communist China.

Trudeau the lesser will be responsible for ending relations.

Sadly China is showing it's TRUE self.

McCallum did the same thing trump
                      Did .

Made the case that it was about a trade war , not the law.

That was wrong , the exact same thing as trump did.
Glad you all want trump fired too.

You at least have to pretend it is about the law, that was McCallums job.
                      He deserved to be fired.

You do have to wonder, if China
Is using Huawea to spy on the world.

Or is this just a case of the United states supporting their own
                      Business interests

                      Certialy that been done before.

Not that I know anything but China's reaction , makes them look guilty..
                      As hell

                      That said American banks gave
                      Huawea the money.
                      Without due diligence.
                      Checking them out
                      So why not charge them.

                      Who knows?

It. is tough to get the truth in this world

                      Either way
If HSBC bank can launder over a billion
In drug cartel money and not one executive ever get charged.

V the Chinese should not worry.
