When you leave even the best of governments in too long they get where we are now. They do not listen or care about who put them there. They have enough people bought off they feel the rest doesn't matter.

I think not they're too controlled and focused on proving the oil industry is all they need.
The Ndp don't even mention agriculture even though there are so many issues they could be bringing up so yes what do we do?
The farm groups are too politically intertwined with their favourite people that all they really are is media control also for their controllers.
How do we get a farm group to be formed with less ties to actually discuss these issues more openly?

Well don't split it then just vote conservative maybe. I looked briefly on their policies at least they are mentioning some of our issues but need a forum for us farmers to be heard also

In the long term a loss to the sask party even to the Ndp would be best. They'd finally be told and have to accept corruption and spending like fools doesn't cut it as well as the fact you need rural Sask so act like we matter.

Always the finger pointing but never the solution,we are never going to get reconition when we are 2% or less of the voting public, but trying to demonize the other guy instead of telling it like it is isnt going to work ,they just point it out we cant get together so why should they(politicans) give a damn.
Mabey little johny is a little shit and not the kid down the road, time to look at the whole not just what we want to see.

This happened in 2015 in Alberta unfortunately it was a huge failure resulting in the socialists and anti-energy activists willingly bringing in a carbon tax.
Deficits, unemployment, debt, more government bureaucracies, investors moving capital out, good times.

Raised minimum wage by what 45% and included other payroll increases. Biggest net result from personal experience restaurant meals have increased in cost over 30% since 2015. Raised corporate taxes by 20% and resulted in lower revenues. Lowered small business tax from 3 to 2%, certainly hope I can afford 3%. Alberta has the lowest business confidence in Canada according to latest poll by Canadian Federation of Independent business. Fastest accumulation of government debt is n Alberta's history! Need I ho on, oh and still no pipeline after kissing Trudeau's ass. Enjoy your day.
It's rather comical actually but too serious to laugh.

......
Wage went from 10.50 (which is ridiculous) to 15$ over 4 years. Small biz tax rate decreased from 3% to 2%. Can you really blame the net of that to increase the meal by 30%?
The predictions of 53,000 to 93,000 jobs lost because of increase was a farce, instead 40k jobs in that income bracket were created. ATB says restaurant receipts are at an all time high.
64% of those who work at minimum wage are women.Last edited by wd9; Jan 31, 2019, 16:25.

Now your comment about slave wages. I agree $10.50 is to low but I also believe there should be lower wages for teens or new employees as well as liquor servers. Raising wages that drastically during a time of an economic slowdown seems like a bad idea. Plus while it appears not that many jobs were lost how many hours were cut? Time will certainly tell.
As for the reduction in small business tax. At 3% it is already low enough. With the size of deficits Alberta is running it seemed like a unnecessary cut but I guess after all the other costs like carbon tax, increased regulations and higher labour costs they felt they had to throw small businesses a bone. Enjoy your day.
