    ICE Canola crush margin

    Crush margins are now higher than a year ago but farm gate canola bids are lower by 20-40 cents a bushel depending on the delivery month.

    Do you think there is any hope for $11 before spring ? We did do some recently but its for june

      I don't see 11 for the next three weeks so that doesn't leave much time. Could happen; that would be an optimistic outlook. A better chance farther out.
      Exports are behind last year by around 510,000 tonnes. West coast ship count is 15. Last year it was 35

        As stated at the CTA meetings in Vancouver it sounds like we are no longer a reliable shipper , then throw in the help by Trudeau in regards to China , India and Saudi Arabia.....who is buying our products?????

            As of Dec 31,2018
            China has taken a lot more canola this year than last. Good thing.
            Mexico and UAE each down about 200,000
